Weekend warrior!

First weekend off in many, so I cracked on with my presentation of my dissertation research question, which is at Uni tomorrow night. Spent 5 hours on it, after awaking at 7:06am . . . . hello internal clock, it's Saturday and I don't get up THAT early on a skool day . . . . so I got up, potter around for a wee bit and started the presentation. Then the postman dropped an envelope through the letterbox and I phoned France . . . . plans have slightly changed and all will become clear soon.

Finished the presentation at about 3pm and pottered some more, pending the girls arriving. The intention was to get the new wrap dress out of the wardrobe and go and tease my new playthings at a party. Ms S arrived to announce she'd changed the locks and put all his stuff into black bin bags and they were now in the garage . . . . what? Ms K arrives as Ms S is relaying the story. They've never met before, so I did quick introductions and put the kettle on. It then manifests that Ms K is also having man problems. Plans for the evening dramatically changed, so I stayed in my pj's, opened a bottle of wine and thanked my lucky stars that I was single. The dress was put back in the wardrobe for another occasion and my playthings will have to wait.

They left this afternoon, when I literary kicked them out and told them their problems were not going to be solved hiding in my front room, I got out of my pj's, put some warmer clothes on and went into the garden.

The Magnolia had been soaking in a bucket of water for over a week and needed to be potted out, so one big pot and loads of compost later, there is new edition to the garden. I then sowed the two variety of radishes. Cleared up the garden and came indoors and reflected on the pain that one individual can mentally inflict on another. The hurt that deception and secrecy can cause to someone self esteem and over all well being and once again was glad I am single. When we're in our 20's, yes it's semi acceptable, but when you get into your 30's and heaven forbid our 40's, its unacceptable to be an idiot. Mutual respect for others must account for something and it's free, doesn't cost a penny. People have to take responsibility for their initial action and suffer the consequence of the reaction they receive.

Not on, out of order, red card, sin bin, cruel and unnecessary. Dissapointed.

Oh no, look what happened!

I was going to get up and tidy the garden today but someone 'let it snow'.

I bought a new pot to plant a Magnolia tree (shhhh don't tell Matron, it produces flowers) and some radish seeds. Decided that beetroot wasn't a good idea last year, they were nasty! So back to the tried and test. Bought two varieties this year, French Breakfast (and no I won't be eating them in France and especially not for Breakfast) they are long ones (ew er mrs!) and the good old bog standard ones. So will be sowing my seeds this afternoon, once I've redone my marketing assignment, which I thought was all ok until I went to class on Wednesday to find out it wasn't.

I reached my goal weight yesterday, which is brilliant, only took 5 months of hard work. And six year of finding the diet for me. But I'm there. Still don't see the big changes, but it was good feeling asking for a size smaller in the shop the other day! Now just have to keep it off!

Went to see a neurologist Friday evening at the Cromwell Hospital. God some of these private hospitals are posh, the Cromwell isn't as posh as the Wellington, but it does put some hotels to shame. Ridiculous! Nice chappy, has sent me off to the London Bridge Hospital next week for an MRI and blood tests, the amount of boxes he ticked for testing is phenomenal. All fun and games!

The dishwasher is fix, woohoo!
